Polo is a world of its own. Those who do not involve themeselves in it tend to think of it as a cruel sport. those of us who are in it know that these horses are some of the most well taken care of athletes. People who want to get into polo, need to understand that this is an expensive sport. Not in the way that it is full of luxuries, but in the way that in order to play a proper game with a well maintained mount requires constant maintenence for the horse, the truck, the trailer, the tack...I think that down here, a lot of people are led to believe that if you have the money, you can play. But there is so much more to it than that.

We have some great summer polo down here. We play late enough in the afternoons that the heat is not an issue. Our dues are less than 1000.00 and it is great for green players or horses. we will play throughout the summer along the Gulf Coast and hope that you will travel to play with us. There are also plenty of other activities for you to do when you are not playing polo. We have shopping, beaches, deltas, and all of the trailriding that you can stand.
